i was just thinking about what i was doing six years ago today... you know those moments where something grabs at your soul and you know that this moment is significant for some reason. and that led me back to you.

you would have loved it, for christmas i gave away years of my life. i made everyone little booklets and cds and dvds of all of my combined memories, stories, poems, journal entries, emails, etc., from those years and gave them out. it freaked out most of my friends, but oh well. my favorite was 2001. it was a horrible year, but it was full of rich memories of this place. lots of words on paper and lots of happy thoughts coming from this green screen.

it rained pretty hard in southern california today, but i know you're managing to stay dry. memories and thoughts of you help keep me from getting wet, too.
