Anatalia

Once alone, I long
I long.

Dear Anatalia, you sweet woman, you held them, held them strong
You held her gently, you held him to life itself,
And all the rest of them
You held them

You held me, Dear Anatalia, when petty pain pinched
And held me on while you were being eaten alive from the inside
You held me strong and held me sweet.

All my life, I never saw you sleep
Dear Anatalia, how you held them deep,
There in that half-eaten heart, how you held them deep.

That singular day, Dear Anatalia
When she wanted to hold you gently
When he wanted to hold on to your life, as you had held his
When they wanted to hold you sweet, hold you gently
That singular day that I may have seen you sleeping
I will never see you wake.

i don't quite know how to comment on this..but just to let you know that there's a very deep emotion that ran through me as i read this over and over. i log out, came back, and re-read again..and the feelings were the same deep blue, deep blue. i could almost hear you sing this sweet bitterness in low breaths, as if echoing from a hidden forest. and the tune was a solemn deep blue, deep blue..
...and i wonder what this is all about~
